My toothbrush is falling apart when I use OraMD.
Some cheaper brushes use plastic bristles, which will not hold up to the potency of OraMD’s powerful botanical oils. Make sure to use a brush with soft nylon bristles. Avoid using foam cups, polystyrene plastics will not hold up to the menthol in this product.
Can I use a Water Pik with OraMD?
Water Irrigators aid in flushing out the bacteria and pockets. Our recommendation is to use the irrigator prior to brushing with OraMD. OraMD is an oil and will separate from the water or sit on top of it if you use it in the irrigator. However , if you do use OraMD in the irrigator you should be sure to flush your oral irrigator with medium to hot water for 20-30 seconds after use. This is again because some plastic components will not stand up to the potency of OraMD’s powerful botanicals. This could potentially void any warranty you might have if you don’t flush it with the medium hot water. Avoid using foam cups, polystyrene plastics will not hold up to the menthol in this product.
